Our home is located on the Pacific side, in the Herradura Beach area, just a few minutes north of Jaco Beach. Casa Tesoro directly overlooks a private beach and the Gulf of Nicoya – you’ll see and hear the waves washing ashore! We are in the Faro Escondido development, which is accessed through the five star J.W. Marriott resort property, Los Suenos, on a private road that leads to our gated community. Perched on a lovely hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf de Nicoya, Tesorso Escondido affords breathtaking scenery overlooking a “left break’ surf destination, a gorgeous private beach, pools and a sunset that will knock your socks off!
Tesoro Escondido has been established with our expectations of a private home including a décor in the traditional, yet very comfortable Costa Rican theme with premium beds, linens and towels, guest robes, complimentary morning coffee and beans, and exceptional amenities including a Play Station for the kids, a wide selection of movies and music for children and adults, and associated upscale electronics.
Tesoro Escondido is provisioned for eight guests. There are three lovely guest rooms – the master bedroom with king size bed is completed in a relaxing ocean theme to accent the huge plate glass windows overlooking the ocean and adjoining deck, the guest bedroom next door offers a queen bedroom and ocean front views off the deck, and the third bedroom offers twin beds of the highest quality. We also have a double sized sofa pull out that is great for guests or children overflow in the upstairs great room/entertainment area. All textiles were hand delivered from the United States and boast the highest quality for your comfort.
There are two and a half baths – one master bedroom ensuite bath with shower, a shared upstairs bath with shower and a downstairs powder room. The kitchen is fully equipped with beach themed dinnerware, serving pieces, tablecloths, espresso maker and all the typical appliances and luxuries of "home." A washer and dryer are conveniently located next to the pantry.
