Property #NAIAHB200
Hale Naia a beautiful Lucky Bennett designed home at nearby Napoopoo Beach park is situated with 270 feet of ocean frontage on magnificent Kealakekua Bay on Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The entire crescent shape bay is a State Underwater Marine Conservation Zone. The crystal clear water and fabulous coral reefs make the area one of the best in the state for snorkeling and SCUBA diving.
On many mornings groups of dolphins frolic and jump in the bay to the delight of vacationers and locals alike. A monument across Hale Naia marks the approximate site where Captain James Cook was killed in 1778. To access the outstanding coral reef near the monument there are several kayaks for rent at the nearby pier. Another significant hisorical area adjacent to Hale Naia is the ancient Hikiau Heiau (Hawaiian Temple).
