Travel Insurance
Planning the Vacation of Your Dreams?
Protect Your Investment at Only 6.5% of the Total Trip Cost.
Even the best-planned vacation can be affected by unexpected problems, such as inclement weather delaying your departure or the sudden illness of a family member causing you to cancel your trip. Travel insurance can prevent the loss of your valuable investment as well as additional unwanted expense.
What Travel Insurance Provides:
- Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption — 100% of lodging cost up to $20,000
Pays for nonrefundable payments and certain extra costs if your trip must be cancelled or interrupted for unexpected injury, sickness, death and other specific reasons.
- Trip Delay — Up to $600
Provides coverage if you are delayed from your trip for more than 12 hours due to a covered reason at the beginning or during the course of your trip. (Certain limitations apply.)
- Emergency Medical Transportation — Up to $50,000
If you become sick or injured during your trip, the Assistance Provider will:
- Arrange for your transport to the nearest suitable medical facility.
- Provide assistance for you to return home, if medically necessary.
- Provide round-trip economy airfare to send someone of your choice to be with you if you are traveling alone and are in the hospital for more than 10 days.
- Send your baggage home.
What Travel Insurance Costs:
Sun and Snow Vacations can provide travel insurance for you and your traveling companion at only 6.5% of the total trip cost. (This plan applies ONLY to those arrangements booked directly through Sun and Snow Vacations.)
Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion:
There is no coverage for any illness, disease or other condition during the 60-day period immediately prior to your effective coverage date for which you or your traveling companion or family member: (1) received, or received a recommendation for, a diagnostic test, examination or medical treatment; or (2) took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine. Item (2) of this definition does not apply to a condition that is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the 60-day period before coverage is effective under this policy.
We will waive this exclusion if you meet the following conditions:
- You purchase the plan with your initial deposit.
- All insured travelers must be medically able to travel when you pay your premium.
